Our first objective was maximizing the indoor air quality. We want the air you breathe to be pure and clean. We use H/E air filters with a MINIMUM MERV rating of 10 and incorporate Himalayan salt lamps (Halotherapy) in every bedroom. We use eco-friendly Branch Basics nontoxic cleaning products made from plant and mineral based natural ingredients. We design and incorporate robust maintenance and cleaning protocols. All products are safe for humans, pets and the earth.

In our pursuit for environmental sustainability and energy conservation we use Nest learning thermostats and LED light bulbs. Every space offers filtered drinking water. In addition, we use H/E dual flush toilets to conserve water resources. All properties and spaces are professionally maintained. We are committed to paying MORE than living wages to all our staff. We also donate a portion of every booking to Tunnel to Towers Foundation & My Life My Power World, Inc.

Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs

1. Physiological  

The base of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Air, Water, Shelter and Sleep. Holstram satisfies this with an Alexa in every bedroom that will play soothing sounds or offer guided sleep meditations. Enhanced air filtration (Minimum MERV 10), water filtration by refrigerator, pitcher or Reverse Osmosis and Himalayan salt lamps and smudge kits in in every bedroom complete the base.

2. Safety & Security 

Maslow’s second level of Safety and Security is satisfied with cameras at the entrance and exit of every property, a contactless virtual check-in/out experience, enhanced natural plant-based cleaning protocols using Branch Basics supplies and a duvet cover that is removed and laundered after every guest. 

3. Love and Belonging 

 Holstram satisfies this third level of Maslows hierarchy with our commitment and focus on sustainability to preserve the planet we all share. Whenever possible we try and limit negative impact and enhance positive impact on the Environment, Society, and Governance bodies. We are committed to creating a culture of that embraces Diversity, Exceptionality and Inclusion (DEI). We believe an essential element to building DEI initiatives is through empathy and understanding. We use Nest learning thermostats and LED light bulbs to conserve energy and whenever possible we use H/E dual flush toilets to conserve water resources. Guests can also participate with the transition to sustainable green energy by reserving (contactless) a Tesla Model S (MS) EV.

Holstram offers guests the opportunity to explore the fourth level of Maslow’s hierarchy with Yoga, Massage, Fitness, Mindfulness and Wellness services offered through Alo Yoga and alomoves.com.

Holstram satisfies the final level of hierarchy for the guest by donating a portion of every booking to Tunnel to Towers Foundation & My Life My Power World, Inc. Equally, Holstram is committed to paying MORE than living wages to all our staff.
