OVERVIEW

The 2014 Tesla Model S P90D is a mid-size luxury all-electric five-door liftback car. It is the car that changed the world view of EV's and accelerated the world's transition to sustainable transportation. The Tesla Model S is the one of the safest, quickest cars on the road—with industry leading performance, range, and storage. This Tesla P90D uses dual electric motors along with all-wheel drive technology to deliver a supercar-smashing 691 HP in "Insane" mode. The Tesla P90D is capable of 0-60 in just 3.2 seconds. In 2014 the Tesla P85D model earned the label of the "The World's Quickest Sedan". This Tesla was upgraded to a 90kWh battery pack for extended range upgrading the vehicle from a P85D to a P90D. This car beats anything on the road other than another Performance (P) Tesla.

SAFETY

Model S is built from the ground up as an electric vehicle, with high-strength architecture and a floor-mounted battery pack allowing for incredible impact protection.Model S achieved the highest NHTSA safety rating of any car ever tested.This vehicle comes standard with the most advanced active safety features like front collision avoidance, emergency braking and lane departure warnings.

PERFORMANCE

2 AC induction motors. One 221 HP front and One 470 HP rear motor combined produce a monstrous 691-HP/687 FT-LBS torque. 3.2 second 0-60mph @ 155 mph. 21” Sonic Carbon Turbine Wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport performance tires. Tesla’s all-electric powertrain delivers unparalleled performance in all weather conditions. The dual motor all-wheel drive provides instant traction and torque control along with "Insane" acceleration. Conventional all-wheel drive cars employ complex mechanical linkages to distribute power from a single engine to all four wheels. Only Tesla has the technology to provide superior and independent traction to both the front and rear wheels by using dual motors.

RANGE

Model S can get you anywhere you want to go with industry leading range and convenient charging options, all over the world. The Model S charges up to 80% in 20-40 minutes on a Tesla Supercharger. You will receive the vehicle with 155 to 200 miles in charge.

AUTOPILOT

Autopilot advanced safety and convenience features are designed to assist you with the most burdensome parts of driving. This Tesla P90D is equipped with Auto Pilot 1.0 or Highway Auto Pilot. Autopilot with Convenience Features. This was the very first Autopilot package (AP1) for vehicles that included front collision avoidance, lane departure warnings, traffic-aware cruise control (TACC), and autosteering/braking/accelerating. It also had the ability to auto lane change with turn signal, read speed signs, Autopark (self-parallel & perpendicular park) and Summon (enter or exit parking spots without driver input). This was the first version of Auto Pilot designed to work on highways. However, it doesn’t only work on highways; it works on surface streets as well. Tesla is the most advanced self-driving car produced.

INTERIOR

Model S is built with best in class storage, seating for up to five adults and expansive 17-inch touchscreen. Black leather interior with carbon fiber décor 7 speaker surround sound system. Advanced noise engineering creates sound dynamics comparable to a recording studio, while the all glass panoramic sunroof provides a spacious interior experience for every passenger. This vehicle has undergone an Infotainment upgrade to Media Control Unit Upgrade (MCU2) and also includes Premium Connectivity which has an LTE cable modem and supports 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. This upgrade allows for a responsive and smoother touchscreen and instrument cluster, a faster browser with video playback and 3D rendering support. This allows for video streaming, music streaming, access to YouTube, Netflix, Disney + and HULU, satellite view maps, caraoke and features a Google Chromium-based platform browser and displays Bluetooth media album art. Any Model S manufactured after 3/2018 will have the updated (MCU2) if the vehicle was manufactured prior to 3/2018 the vehicle has Media Control Unit (MCU1).

TOUCHSCREEN

The P90D 17 inch touchscreen controls most of the car's functions. Opening the all glass panoramic roof, customizing the automatic climate control, changing the radio station, adjusting the steering and acceleration all happen with a swipe or a touch. The touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, and steering wheel controls seamlessly integrate media, navigation, communications, cabin controls and vehicle data.

EXTERIOR

The P90D was designed for speed and endurance with incredible aerodynamics, "Insane" performance and uncompromising aesthetics. Automatic door handles auto-present upon approach and withdraw when closed.
